Torrey was born on the 8th of June 1984. She was born in Huntington New York. She was a former American fashion model and philanthropist, and performer. Torrey was raised in Winter Park, Florida. Torrey is of Italian roots. She was in 4th grade when she enrolled in the orchestra of secondary school and played solos during the wedding of Peter Cook and the renowned actress Christie Brinkley. Torrey was born to an Billy Joel drummer. Billy Joel revealed during a concert in the Wembley Arena in London that DeVitto who was his drummer during the show, was carrying a new infant. In The CW Television series One Tree Hill she starred as Carrie. Since 2011, Torrey has been a Hospice Ambassador with the Palliative Care Organization and National Hospice. She also supports the PETA-HSUS RAINN association. Torrey DeVitto has been working on Mental Illness to bring problems to the forefront for Mental Health Month close by the National Alliance in May. In addition, she is the storyteller in The Road to Hope film that focuses palliative attention nurture in Uganda.
